The weekend forecast is for showers, not heavy rain, and the Lord’s drainage is excellent. NZ will have a bit of work to do to come away with a draw.

Doesn’t matter how good the drainage is! You can’t get on the park if it’s raining! Based on this forecast the draw is favourite imo. Agreed NZ would have struggled to get anything out of this match otherwise

The draw is currently at 7/1, so they're expecting to get some play over the last 3 days.
Probably worth a poke on the draw at 7/1, hope for rain or a 2nd innings NZ revival.

Ah no you’ve misinterpreted the forecast. They break it down hour by hour and the chance of rain is generally 20-30%. Usually this means they expect a shower or two but aren’t sure when exactly it’ll arrive. Those days used to wash out regularly but with modern drainage we usually see 40 overs or so, but in very difficult batting conditions.

Jamieson worked him over there. Tough start to the no.3 stint for Pope.

Think this is the game, right here. NZ get Ben &/or Jonny Red early doors and it's a 50/50 game again.

Our tail looks very long and Parkinson extends it further.

Southee making himself a real menace with the ball swinging in from around the wicket over the past couple of years.

Well now. Soft from England. That opening stand may be more important than we originally thought.

As soon as NZ tighten things up this happens!
