Hahahah I agree with you in principle, but they’ve actually been good tonight tbf
turpin did to his credit shelve the thing he tried in the souths game of "launching in to people's heads shoulder first every single tackle" and played with energy you are right but, all around, and, all night, we've looked exactly like a team playing our five eighth at centre and playing our halfback and one of our centre-wing combos on the wrong side of the field too. the attack has just been hideously clunky and disjointed esp in the 20

Losing when up 18-0 with less than 20 to go has to go down as one of the all time chokes. Sorry Shady but...

oh i'm not angry at all tbh. i'm vindicated. all night in attack and all second half in defence (once brisbane got into the game a bit bc of all of the drop ball), we looked exactly like you'd expect a team to look when they're playing half their team out of position. we moved our left centre wing combo to the right and our right side halfback to the left, and, shockingly enough, our defence on the right edge got absolutely shredded in the second half. it wasn't even just galvin who was bad (which would have been vindicating enough), it was the entire consequence of playing half the team out of position - burto to the centres, ***ton on the left, galvin on the right, xerri+montoya on the right, and what that means for the formations and the combinations in attack and in defence

How did they not score the set after the chargedown? Like what? Also yeah I mean - idk if Burton should be at center. But I said it before - he always looks most dangerous when running the ball or putting up his trademark kicks, rather than more traditional halves play. At least imo. His solo try felt more reminiscient of one you’d see from say Critta. Maybe I’m off my head though. Also **** you Dogs

Jeez the Canterbury bubble has properly burst, as we all knew it would. They'll battle to make the top four I reckon. Already had three byes. I think they're gone. And if they do make the top four they'll go out in straight sets as they deserve to. Gone

i’m apropos of nothing remembering when the doggies were bad two years ago and the only source of rugby league succour i could find was a rival club losing a weird game during the origin affected rounds in an otherwise domineering season

How can you let a team score when a bloke is about to be chucked across the sideline and just biffs the ball back inside.
Can't take anything away from the Maroons though because they have been perfect with 21/21 completions and rock solid defence.

Nah, has nothing to do with 'getting origin'.

A Daley coached team can't win origin. Especially if we need to kick goals.
