It's Tough Being Me - The Kevin Pietersen Story

This is so much better than homework gate. Someone needed bitch slapping over that fake twitter account. But like Cook was up to it. What a massive leadership failure on multiple levels.

Cook wasn't captain at the time

The irony is that if it wasn't for Prior and Cook in 2012 Pietersen's career would've been over 18 months earlier. Bet they wish they'd never got involved now.

Oh don't let facts get in the way of this nonsense, or even that Stewart's evidence is third-hand, and denied by all those accused. Apparently ECB should still have punished them all on this negligible evidence, and it just shows that KP is a martyr and practically a saint, even though he followed this heinous account at first.

Honestly when will we just make Piers Morgan the head of the ECB so we can finally give out some venerable justice to the holy KP, and mete vengeance on those who spake against him.

ECB obviously haven't come out of this well but I'm amazed how anyone other than piers Morgan or Jessica from liberty x could think KP doesn't come off worse

When Graham Norton tells him team sports are not for him then you know he has problems.

Nah fraid not Gimp, the cricketing world is small, and KP has got his message out to everyone with little reply elsewhere. Only a small amount of people will read Athers or Simon Hughes. He wins the battle because he's a celebrity. His argument that he's only disliked because he's honest is used by countless celeb trolls and/or reality TV contestants. It's marketed that way, he's just being Simon Cowell.

Andy Flower is not going to be on Graham Norton to rebuff him next week. Oh and I had to avoid seeing the great John Cleese and Taylor Swift's legs this week because of the idjit.

The KP side plays it smart with all the celebs and the reign of the dark side of the Force in English cricket, no doubt. So what is ECB's counter-strategy? Are they going to sit it out?

Their strategy should be to shut up, it should have been before the dossier, they can't win a sleb/twitter battle, they just need to carry on with the cricket, and hope it dies down. Perpetuating it just plays into KP's hands.

Been saying it for months - whoever is advising the ECB is as dumb as a bag of rocks

As it stands, the general public perceives Cook to be a lame duck captain, Giles Clarke a crook, Downton an idiot and KP a martyr

Cook did an interview on the BBC
Well he should be ****ed off as captain then. Or shot.

FFS, just don't say anything and let the media go around and around with this for a while before it eventually goes away.

England's strategy should be to shut up, wait for the cricket to start again, play **** at the ODI World Cup as always, and then win their next test match and make it clear they have moved on.

Mm Ponting peaked in 06-7 really, but yeah, true. He was right up there for a few years, though.

I realise that you think KP is the devilspawn but if you're not gonna actually read what he has to say then saying stuff like "he says he's done nothing wrong" is pretty dumb when he clearly has said he's done things wrong.
All the mistakes he properly admits to are from years ago. He doesn't admit to anything in the past few years, even makes a heap of excuses around the texts to Strauss (wasn't that bad a word, etc.). If he wrote the autobiography five years later, bet he starts realising how many mistakes he made towards the end as well; he's too much of an egotist to admit to mistakes in recent times; its easy to write off ones that were made in 2006.
