Nah, longevity of the 'tache has to be a factor here imo. I don't know if Lara had his for long enough did he?

Having said that, if he went 'tacheless for the vast majority of his career, but for the period he had a 'tache it was of the Merv Hughes standard, then it would certainly be worth a shout.

Yeah, the same old longevity vs peak argument in CW...

Ikki to come up with statsguru filters showing how peaks of Australians were better than longevity of others, and longevity of Australians were better than peaks of others [excluding minnows and including WSC (Lillee only) of course - and ODIs to be considered for Bevan alone]...

I think Ikki has been subjected to a fair bit of vitriol, some of it personal, but he takes it pretty well tbh.
