Big fella was likely in a poor old way in the aftermath.
Yeah, it must have been bad if he still looks like this now. Hopefully he is ok apart from the physical injuries.

Can't imagine that after that he will ever be the same man again - on an incidental point the size of the bill that Auntie's insurers will be picking up is going to be eye-watering

Bit conflicted about these pics being on the front of a national Scum paper, it feels exploitative, but I guess he chose to do this public thing.

Anyway, always been an hero to me since 2005, and it continues, wish him the best.

Yeah, my thoughts too. Yikes.

I absolutely love Fred, watched a couple of episodes of Field of Dreams - that was some wholesome, made me tear up ****. Good to see him out and back into it.
If you tear up watching that, you'll probably be a wreck when the documentary on his long road to recovery is released.
