Loved Nathan Astle. Never really that technically correct, but had a wonderful eye and whilst loose outside off, would also smoke them through there when he was in. Used to really hope that him and Cairns would get runs whenever I saw them play.

Keith Miller 20

Nathan Astle 6

Greg Blewett (1971-)

2,552 runs in 46 Tests for Australia; 32 ODIs
Fighting batsman with a fifteen-year first class career
Partnership of 385 with Steve Waugh, batting together for a day and eventually hitting 214 against SA at Johannesburg
Rather moderate Test record after poor stints in India and opening

Shakib-al-Hasan (1987-)

1,127 runs and 67 wickets in 19 Tests for Bangladesh; 85 ODIs
Capable all-rounder who has progressed to Bangladesh Test captaincy at the age of 22
Would have a claim to be Bangladesh' finest cricketer of the Test era on batting or bowling alone

Hansie Cronje (1969-2002)

3,714 runs in 68 Tests for South Africa; 188 ODIs
Known as a hard-nosed middle-order batsman, captained South Africa for six years
Found guilty of several incidents of match-fixing, was banned from cricket for life

Haha, was waiting for you to post about that. Wish I could vote for Blewy as well, but it's gotta be Shakib
