Australian Domestic Season 2022-23

Do you think South Australia will do better this season
To give an honest answer, I think things are heading in the right direction, but there is still a long way to go yet. At full strength there is enough talent in the side with bat and ball to really contend for wins but greater consistenty is the single most important thing for progress with both bat and ball.

Batting will be stretched when Head and Carey are unavailable, key will be Hunt contininuing his progress, Weatherald being able to reach his best more regularly, and having at one of the fringe middle order bats being able to seize a permanent place for themselves.

The bowling looked a decent amount better last year, even if this was not always reflected in the end result. McAndrew especially was excellent, his effort and commitment never wavered no matter the situation. Doggett was damaging when he could get on the park, Grant has been steadily improving. The addition of a proven FC performer like Conway is very useful, and Manenti shows promise as a more reliable spin option going forwards

Not expecting to win any silverware, but being able to get victories on a more regular basis is absolutely plausible

Hopefully Jason Sangha can have a more consistent season this year. Seemed to have hit his stride at the back end of the FC season last year after a good bbl campaign with the thunder.

No McAndrew a bit of a hammer blow tbh. I do like Scott as a cricketer but he hasn't really developed as quickly as would have been hoped (batting him at 3 in the Shield probably didn't help). Still has time on his side though, hoping this year he can start to really kick on

EDIT: ****

Caleb Jewell has had moments of brilliance now and again over the last couple years

Has definitely got the potential. Hopefully he can take Travis Head's Aussie spot soon

How far are Northern Territory & Australian Capital Territory away from having a first class side?

Will it ever happen
