Auction draft II - ODI

pskov

International 12th Man
It's not Jayasuriya. That's for sure :) ...could be anyone else, Agarkar and Kemp included ...
It definitely wasn't Kemp.

I would have rather gotten one of the top tier players to be honest, definitely surprised I didn't bid enough to get any of them, but it's difficult to be disappointed with getting Kemp for so little.

I won't ever finish rounds early weldone, the deadline is there for a reason (as people can change their bids if they want to and also as I've picked a time when I should be able to get results up fairly promptly)

The following have been drafted:

A Agarkar - Blakus
S Bond - Pothas
M Clarke - Cevno
R Hadlee - honestbharani
S Jayasuriya - weldone
J Kemp - Pskov
L Klusener - Noble One
M Muralitharan - Himannv
V Richards - G.I.Joe
G Sobers - Somerset

For the record, the 3 players I added were A Agarkar, S Bond and M Sami.

The winning bids were (from lowest to highest) - $4, $300,011, $1,000,000, $1,500,000, $1,502,618, $2,105,000, $2,345,676, $2,400,799, $2,500,011, $3,100,999.

Round 3 is open with the following players available:

M Boucher
T Chappell
Kapil Dev
A Flower
B Lee
Saqlain Mushtaq
G Smith
P Strang
S Tendulkar
Mohammad Yousuf

Deadline of 10am Saturday please.
Will send mine tomorrow. One of the players keeps calling me up asking to be valued at 10000000 dollars.

I say pay him even more than he wants. In that way, you can make 10 persons happy. That player, and the 9 of us. Don't lose that chance.

I guess that player stays near my house (I'm not joking, he really does :) )...Today I saw a lot of traffic near his house. Probably all the journalists of Mumbai came in anticipation of the news :)

Sent :)

PS: Forgot to change the subject line. Its says Round 3 nomination instead of Round 3 bids, Marc,

Haha, Himannv, you big spender. I thought my bid for Tendulkar was high enough. :p
Having both Viv and Sachin in the same team would have been epic WIN, but its not to be, and I really can't complain about getting Brett Lee instead. Definitely one of the all time great ODI bowlers. That Strike rate of 29 is insane.
