Members of Sri Lankan women cricket team forced into ***ual favours

Yeah, I guess we agree here. It's not in the word favour, but in the word forced. I was trying to say that forced to perform *** is very bad. But ***ual harassment not per se.

Members of Sri Lankan women cricket team forced into ***ual favours

TBH, there is not that much info in that article. Without juming to conclusions or minimalising a truely rotten ways, we simply cannot know what has been going on. Members of Sri Lanka's women's cricket team were forced to perform ***ual favours to keep their places in the team, the sports...

Road to the 2015 Ashes in England

2005 was so ****ing awesome, because the visitors were the absolute world dominating side. So, no......, no repeat.

-Not true -Botham also believed Panesar was the only bowler able to come close to his number of wickets

So, now I've got tickets for Trent Bridge (day 4) and Edgbaston (day 4). Regards, Stapel, proud sponsor of the British economy.

Thanks! We had more or less come to the conclusion that crossing the Channel, in whatever way, probably makes more sense than crossing the North Sea. It's just that I'm baffled to learn prices for overnight crossings are so expensive............

I think we (all) agree it wasn't good bowling. But Cook didn't score 70+ rather than 50+ in that series. He was a run machine, outscoring all others (Bell, Trott, Strauss, Pietersen, Prior and Collngwood (who couldn't even score a run from his mother in law's blowling that series) by an insane...

Road to the 2015 Ashes in England

Is that what the Aussie attack is looking like? Johnson, Harris, Hazlewood, Lyon? With Starc being the foremost candidate to take a spot? I'm quite in the blind, especially with no RL cricket talk around. So these questions might be off, but: What about Siddle, Cummins & Pattinson? I take it...

Road to the 2015 Ashes in England

Yeah, and fine that it doesn't matter, as there are many alternatives. It's just that I am amazed....... Couldn't believe it either. Return tickets across the North Sea for two adults in a FIAT Panda for 850 euro..................

Road to the 2015 Ashes in England

I've got tickets for the 4th day of the 4th test (9th of August)! Yaaay! This means me and mrs. Stapel will go camping (tent) in The English Midlands from the end of July until mid August. As customary to me, and as always to mrs. Stapel's slight annoyance, it wasn't properly thought over, but...

I remember the Barmy Army taking Johnson on, and Aussie fans joining in happily: He bowls to the riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight He bowls to the leeeeeeeeeeeeeft That Mitchell Johnson His bowling is ****e!

I guess I agree largely. Yet, there's simply no bigger thing to do for an English batsman than scoring runs in Australia. I surely never meant to accuse you of doing a WW! ..... "Doing a WW"........., really a metaphore I will use and overuse from this point!

It was against Johnson, Harris, Hilfenhaus & Siddle, not? Not the best ever, but not a joke attack.

I think some of his knocks in the overseas series wins in Aus & Ind are on top, for the simple reason they are away wins in India & Australia. But yeah, certainlt near the top. & It seems harsh to judge Lyth on these two failures. He has a very fine FC record. If he really ****s things up...

It's a thin line. Personally, I dislike the idea that form is linked to stripped down statistics like "long time since defining ton in a win".

*Official* New Zealand in England 2015

Maybe his Test form was never as bad as we made it? Form can be such a hard to describe thing. When Cook came back form the 10/11 Ashes, and continued his fine form against Sri Lanka in the summer, he started the series vs India with 4 absolute failure innings, to follow up with nearly a 300....

Even for the worst #11 in the world that wouldn't be a half decent shot. It's just stupid.

AFAIK, the umpire went upstairs on his own account.

I dunno, but it's a pretty common thing to do with run outs and stumpings, so it does make sense to do so with bat-pad and/or faint nicks.

Not even close? But what if it were? I really wouldn't know. the sensible thing to do is to check........
