Those clouds, if they come, won't be enough to ruin NZ's party.

Really seems the only way to save England. Who has a proper forecast?

Yeah, Cook is looking good. Let's not jinx him. But he seems in fine form again.

No rain today, I think. wouldn't be surprised to actually see 98 overs in the day.

Well, those figures haven't been corrected for fatigue setting in for the bowlers, and the ball getting old. Might be 450/0 after 100.

Agreed, The "400 runs in the 4th innings has only happened once" is massively overused. It is raw data, with hardly any statistical value. Simply because not too many times teams have been set a 400+ target AND have had reasonable time to get there.

Indeed. It seems right to declare. The only thing that might be slightly worrying is that 70 easy runs came for the 8th wicket.

If England and the new ball keep NZ under 360, my money would still be on NZ. IMHO, it's really theirs to lose now.

I was thinking he had been given out caught behind and was surprised to the decision stayed, only to learn he was LBW. Oh well......

Wooow, saved by a brush of the glove there.

The weather is fair, the lead is healthy, the ball is old. If there is a way I can appreciate McCullum to be just MCullum it is now. Still prefer him to keep his head in gear though.

Early call, but with 200/4 in the 3rd innings it's New Zealand's game now. I was thinking to put tenner on it, but Unibet has NZ as big favourites now. Not worth it then.

It's going to be Stuart's day. Whether we like it or not, it's Stuart Babyface No-need-to-appeal Won't-walk-after-big-nick Can't-bat-will-score-runs Broad's day.

So you meant to say either Ned Stark or Mitchel Johnson will play? And consequently have a go at Vivian Broad?

Lunch? Or what? They're not coming out for a single over, surely?

Slog followed by proper drive......... Now Jimmy needs 6 more runs to get to the 1000 runs mark.
