Just how good is Mainoo, I'm always a little sceptical of hype from a young player from the "theatre of crass commercialism". He looks a tidy player and obviously I'd rather have him than Henderson or Phillips, but I could probably say that for 10 players, but is he all that?

I like what I've seen of him so far bit it's too early to judge. Next season Will probably give more of an idea.

Ha, quite so. How's Tom Cleverley doing these days?

He looked pretty special against Liverpool, but yeah he’s not shown it for long and we botch player development a lot.

Mainoo's been the biggest plus tonight so far, and the midfield combinations have actually been pretty impressive at times, although the finishing hasn't been all that. On the downside, Chilwell really is dreadful.

See Georgia have knocked out Greece on pens to qualify.

After checking, they're ranked 77th by FIFA; can't be too many lower rated nations to have ever made a Euros.

And (again after consulting Mr Google) they've managed it by only beating two other countries, Cyprus and Luxembourg, whose combined population is probably about a quarter of London's.

It's probably less than the wider metropolitan areas of any one of Manchester, Birmingham or Glasgow.

England leading the slightly trimmed 24-team field, which suggests four realistic competitors. I agree with the jump after the top 5, but not really the order of the top two.

Probaly quite kind to Georgia to not single them out among the minnows, but the casual 500/1 is probably more along the lines of dartboard mathematics than any serious weighing of their chances.

Not an awful lot of value amongst the field, is there?

Maybe Italy or the Dutch?

Wouldn't touch England or Portugal at those prices. Jerry's odds look stingy too, but they are at home.

Think Leicester killed off any more dramatic odds being offered
