Whatever it takes!!!
Throws open THE WC. Creates the first upset and first major bowl first casualty and attended by a healthy crowd for a non-Indis game. This game ticked off almost all major issues at the WC so far.

Only one left is the lack of close games, lol.

I'd happily say this was a close game, having watched most of it. Lots of twists and turns, big moments that could have turned it etc.

It just wasn't a close finish.

Agreed. The definition of close games has slightly changed in recent times due to people being able to hit boundaries at will, even the tail. England still had a chance in the game till Brook got out.

As a Kiwi hopefully our bogey sides Sri Lanka and Pakistan won't make it either.
Today's game decides if one of the contenders will be SL or Australia. Going by recent results and form, Ind, NZ and SA look good to make it with 4th spot to be contended by 6 other teams. It is a long tournament and can change though.

SA and NZ could easily (and probably will) lose at least a couple of their upcoming games IMO

Both should lose to India, NZ will lose to Australia as they always do in games that matter, one of them will have to lose to the other when they play and there's a good chance SA lose to England. Pakistan on their day could beat either and if the conditions are right even genuine minnows SL/Afg/Banglas could beat SA & NZ in the subcontinent

The only team that I would be confident betting on making it right now is India
