***Official*** India and England in Australia ODI Tri-Series 2015

Fair point on Kohli. It was Taylor that started the Finn conversation, however.

And you make fair points. It's more because I live in Australia, and I'm consistently amazed/annoyed/disgusted at varying times by the acceptance and promotion of Warner et al's behaviour.
look bud we play the right way, the australian way

It only dawned on me earlier today that the teams with the best possible preparation for the World Cup -- ie. the teams playing this series -- just so happen to be the Big Three. Was this mentioned earlier in the thread before the matches started?
Australia can't help it because they're the host, and India has traditionally been pretty involved in the tri series.

Seems to me like England flexing their muscles.

England and Australia are pretty obsessed with playing ODIs against each other tbf. It's the new India-Sri Lanka.

Call me crazy, but I quite like Stuart Binny.
From a strictly neutral rough data analysis, today he was India's best batsman and India's best bowler.

Apart from the discussion that going with 5 specialist bowlers might be the way to go with only 4 men outside the circle (which is a completely different discussion), all-rounders (Binny is one) are imho nearly always underrated. Not good enough to make it on batting or bowling alone, yet still a plus for the team seems hard to comprehend, I guess.

Certain posters, without mentioning names, felt all India had to do to win today was get the bus on time

Perhaps the players were of the same mindset. But let's not take away from our bowlers. Wel done to them.
So good that joke still exists
