You can pick who ever you like, or indeed anybody who did the job beforehand (basically a 'perfect world' scenario).

As stated by Roebuck in the papers today, Hilditch should offer his resignation. Honestly, excluding Watson from the first two Tests was negligence. As stated by Ponting, Watson was our best bowler in India. Further, from the start of the Indian tour, Australia have had a hell of a time taking 20 wickets. Putting those two things together, to then overlook Watson in favour of an injured (and they knew he was injured going into this Test) and out of form Symonds is frankly a sackable offence. I know it's de rigeur to call for sackings after a Series loss, but this time it's actually warranted.

Anyway, in answer to the question - Border and Taylor. Two guys who are straighforward and don't go looking to defy convention or be funky.
