and some left arm darts from Aamir Sohail. Still have memories of 10-30-1 type spells against NZ in 90s, with Ken Rutherford continually and unsuccessfully trying to thread a cut between the two fielders behind point.

Haha yes, Sohail was a bit Jayasuriya-like iirc.

A Bangladeshi spinner deserves to make the list but I can't think which one - I'll go with 'all of them'.

iirc haris sohail was pakistans best bowler against us in some random series before the world cup, or close to it

All the middle-lower order bar Milne have contributed a little though within their usual limitations - Nicholls and Santner slow even given the context, CDG effective but doesn't go big. Admittedly Southee's knock a little better than he usually contributes.

But altogether, the top order didn't fire and the lower middle order are still short on quality, leaving NZ short.

Highest score 42, fourth highest score 29. So Kiwi.

That "chup in, don't dominate" Jacinda Marxism is slowly shutting down our potential for lone nuts to harness their deviance for good posting, like Cribb would.

A bowler convincing his captain to review.... And the keeper wan't sure.......No nick off course!

IMHO, there's a captain to blame here.

In an ideal world I would charge the broadcaster for forcing me to listen to the filth that Manjrekar dishes at us.

Nah there are a **** ton of dumb Indians out there. Our society and culture is set up such that the smartest ones all leave.
So you're saying that we're bringing down the average IQ everywhere?

Guptill and Williamson both average in the 20s in the ODIs against India in India, while Taylor averages 31. These are three of our best ever specialist ODI batsmen (along with Turner, Crowe, Astle and Twose). They need to work out how to score more runs over there - and fast.

man CDG and Santner are both very bits and pieces arent they

CDG's ODIs average of 34 with a top score of 41 is very odd. Man needs to learn to convert

I realised the flaw in my statement when I remembered that Shri moved to Australia

Probably raised the nation's IQ by 1 point by leaving tbh
This was also the observation of the late NZ Prime Minister Robert Muldoon on Kiwis crossing the ditch.

Not often 1 person moving can do that to both nations at the same time...
