Thing is NZ and Australia have been rolled by those two as well. I don't know if it matters what pitches you grew up on. This SA attack isn't discriminating against anyone

Yeah but wasn't that in Capetown on both occasions. We still have to play there.

Heavy showers forecast for Days 4 and 5. I'd declare overnight to give us a whole day to bowl Pakistan out. It's quite obvious Pakistan aren't going to make 400 in the 4th innings against Steyn & co. on this pitch so any additional runs just waste time. Exploit the early morning conditions, try and pick up 4 or 5 wickets before lunch and the match is effectively over with no worries about rain.

thats another reason why they should've enforced the follow on

I don't think a declaration will come until they pass at least 500..

I think they'll bat for 15 overs at 6rpo to reach 500 and try and get one or possibly both of the batsmen to 100. Then pull out to bowl at Pakistan for around 8 overs before Lunch.

I realise our batting isn't the best but to bowl us out in 8 overs.

RSA should be visiting us this summer in UAE and the pitches will be flat (not like the ones we had against England since those matches were played in the winter). Will be interesting to see how that will play out.
