Over half the squad didn't feature in the 5th test and they are in Belfast, not Dublin.

Colly being part of an English ODI side is in itself a backward step IMO.

Looks like the Irish keeper maybe one of them:

Botha to Bresnan, FOUR, edged and that goes through the keeper down to the boundary for four more bringing up the 200.

To be fair, doesn't Botha bowl with the keeper up?

They scored massive 26 off last 5 overs to take England past 200

Yeah, was a seriously awkward take.

I'm back early, can't be having the delay, stuff to do this evening. Got in for free though cos I knew someone on the gate. Great performance from the Irish, really happy with that. Confident we'd have chased 204 here.

Has it been abandoned or have you just binned it?

edit - cricinfo says it starts again soon

Yeah, see above.

116 in twenty overs. Would be disappointing if we couldn't do that.

D/L throwing up no surprises with a very generous target as expected.

Was West bowling seamers?

This should be a stroll in the park for Ireland. England playing 2 frontline pacers in Sidebottom and Bresnan which is pretty much putting a gun to your head in any situation, let alone in these conditions. Im guessing this is an official game?

Nope, left-arm tweaks. Bowled brilliantly.

The D/L target is indeed very generous, I'm wondering yet again what possessed Collingwood to choose to bat at the toss. It's balanced out a touch though because the Ireland side is far better suited to chasing 200 in 50 overs. All 11 can bat and score runs but only a couple can slog when required.
