Nah, there's seam movement and turn on offer here. It's not as easy as it looks. It's not 5/15 bad but it's not a road. Decent areas with some sideways and they're a good shout.
It's still 280-290 minimum though. First innings average here is 298, it's not quite a normal deck but it's close.

Will be a good chase though, Aus have the fire power to make our lower order hitting less relevant than any other team. Need a big innings from one of the top 4.

Giving Aus all the momentum, pretty infuriating. 278 is a very defendable score. Poor in field in last over.

Travis Head is a really good player though, should without question bat 4.

Australia not supporting their Head. Good from him.

Still a shocking last 10 overs. 57/5.

Gone from sublime to awful there, but would have taken 278 to win all day.

Australia may have good bowlers, but we never really have to go hard with that target.

Well they're only 3 shy of that so it'll be an interesting chase imo. Well played Head. Top knock with a minimum of fuss about it really. Just needs to work on his game off his hip and he'll really be an all-around-the-wicket player. Good temperament too.

Rashid and Wood were top shelf for England. Both deserved their returns there, bowled beautifully

Guys, chill. From 220/4 that's an amazing turnaround. Should be happy we aren't chasing 320.

Yeah Aus should have scored 310 easily from that position and really put us under serious pressure.

I'm still not sure about this pitch - looks like it helps batsmen more than the bowlers. The ground isn't tiny though..They're about 15-20 short of par

It will all depend on how Starc and Haze do in the powerplay - need at least 2 wickets in first 10, maybe more

Annoying that Australia seem to have found what basically amounts to a better Maxwell so quickly. Get a proper batsman into that middle order and you have a team.

This won't be easy at all imo. On this pitch the new ball is the best time to score and that isn't easy against Starc and Haze. Not easy to force the issue in the middle overs because of how two paced the wicket is so you don't want to be playing catch up either.
