So I have done a little research on Johnson's bowling/batting form combination.

Whenever Johnson has passed 30 in a batting innings in a test, he has taken:

    60 wickets at 25.5 with 5 wpm

    compared to:

    117 wickets at 31.45 with 3.08 wpm

    Not counting this test.

5 tests into this series, and the Aussie bowlers still havent figured out how to get these 2 driving on the front foot earlier in their innings.
Tendulkar = the most overated player EVER!!
Beckham = the most overated footballer EVER!!
Vassell = the biggest disgrace since rikki clarke!!

Twatto showing them what length to bowl. Think we've seen more hooks and pulls in this innings than in the entire Australian one.

Kerry O'Keefe saying Hilf bowls Jeff Thomson's length at Terry Alderman's pace.

    Not a bad call tbh.

I cannot believe HIlfenhaus kept his position in the side. Almost as bad as Lee playing the 5th test in 2001 after averaging over 50. Only difference is, Australia were winning.

I have been pleasantly surprised by his dross. I came into this series remembering him as a pretty decent swing bowler. I'm sure in 2009 he caused us problems. This track and that at the MCG is pretty similar to the sort of thing you find in England as well.

The difference between their openers and ours - they actually put away balls on leg stump

Australia's top 5 average 115 in this series.

    England's top 5 average 292.

Im struggling to fathom how any bowling attack can look so innocuous in suuch favorable bowling conditions.

Nothing like chants of 'warneeeeey' to perk up the Australian bowlers

This match reminded me of Perth for a while, partly what I'm basing my prediction on.
