Looked like a gap between bat and ball to me - good appeal anyway.

Pietersen hitting through the line of Mcgrath's lengh balls then pulls a lengh ball 3 4s of the over.

Good first hour for England, could have been undone with that run out chance on the last ball before drinks.

Memo to Oz selectors - youre !@#$#@!@#$ morons

4 bowlers on this wicket was never going to work - it's as flat and slow as you'll ever see in Aus at the moment and was predicted to be by all and sundry for weeks

If players get dropped for poor performance then the same rules should apply elsewhere

    He`s been excellent this series.

McGrath and Warne have bowled too slowly for mine.

Great session for England so far. Scoring rate is a slight concern though, looking at 350 odd at lunch, and presumably not much above 450 at tea, if they keep going. You can't really declare at that sort of score, so if they don't get bowled out England may well keep batting to stumps.

SKW round the wicket. That has to be some kind of white flag.

Bowling 2 foot outside leg stump with 5 men on the fence. Does look like he has sorta given up trying to get the batsmen out and is waiting for a mistake. Reminds me of Ian Salisbury in Pakistan a few years ago.

Well Giles did it to Tendulkar a few years ago, and a certain Australian commentator on the game slammed England, saying we were negative IIRC.

Anywhoo, I'm not too worried about the run-rate, summats up with Mcgrath, and I think Colly and KP are waiting to feast on a tiring first-line attack and Clarke and Pontings bowling.

Yeah, very good decision by Bucknor...I would have given him with just the intial sound and speed to go on, but hotspot and snicko showed nothing, so I would have been very wrong.
R.I.P Craigos, you were a champion bloke. One of the best
