Flintoff expected fit for OT

England all-rounder Andrew Flintoff is expected to make a quick recovery from his knee injury and be available for Thursday’s ODI at Old Trafford.

Flintoff hurt his knee whilst fielding in England’s nine run loss to India at Bristol last week after sliding into an advertising board. Although he was able to continue playing in that game, he was rested from yesterday’s 42 run win over India at Edgbaston.

“He had a bit of stiffness behind the knee but we hope he will be back on Thursday,” England captain Paul Collingwood told the BBC today.
