Fitness test for Tendulkar

Sachin Tendulkar is set to have a fitness test on July 19th to judge his availability for the one-day international tri-seres in Sri Lanka between Sri Lanka, India and South Africa next month.

Tendulkar’s fitness test is scheduled a day before the squad is named for the tri-series and if he comes through it with flying colours it’s almost certain that he will be selected.

Tendulkar has had a good return to cricket after recovering from his shoulder operation scoring four centuries in five innings for Lashings in England, while making an unbeaten 50 against Pakistan in a 10 over match at The Oval earlier this week.
