Dean Jones In Contention

Surprising news has just emerged from India as it has been revealed that Dean Jones is also in contention for the Indian coaching role.

Dean Jones made the revelation himself whilst speaking to the Indian media. “I have been to India 58 times and enjoy the country and the public,” stated Jones. “So my hand is up, I am interested.”

Dean Jones joins the list of Australian candidates which include prominent names such as Dav Whatmore, Greg Chapple and Tom Moody.

Dean Jones was an aggressive and destructive batsman in his playing days and was considered one of the most dangerous batsmen in world cricket.

His tough, steely attitude was the main factor that seperated him from other batsmen as he displayed great innings of resilliance whilst batting in the subcontinent.

It’s these ideals and his emphasis on fitness, teamwork and fielding that will have many Indian fans hoping that Dean Jones gets the nod from the BCCI.

More details on the Indian Coach story will follow as they emerge.
