Chappell-Hadlee series in NZ

The 2006-2007 Chappell-Hadlee series will once again be played in New Zealand. Instead of having it alternating every year as originally planned, it has been agreed that after New Zealand contest the VB Series (also including England, on the Ashes tour), both sides will cross the Tasman for the annual three-match series.

It is expected that the series will return to Australia in 2007-2008.

The concept has had an exciting start, with a brilliant 1-1 draw last year and a 2-1 win to Australia with two thrilling run chases by the Black Caps this year.
