BCB Announce Kenya Series

Bangladesh have unveiled plans for a one-day series involving both or one of Kenya and Zimbabwe for March. The BCB today released a brief statement detailing plans to host a tour from the 10th to the 14th of March.

While the Kenyans appeared surprised by this announcement, despite this proposition being long mooted in the Bangladeshi media, the Zimbabweans are unlikely to take part due to the long-term political instability within the ZCU.

Although the series may clash with Kenya’s Intercontinental Cup encounter with Holland, the ICC are likely to reschedule the cup tie due to their insistence that the associate ODI nations, Kenya in particular, play Full Members before the World Cup in 2007.

The Pakistanis are also rumoured to be inviting the Kenyans to play a three-match ODI tour, to be played in April.
