The Bangladesh Cricket Board have sacked manager Harunur Rashid only ten days after he was appointed after media raised allegations against him.

The board have acted quickly in naming former captain Khaled Mahmud as the new manager.

The joint-secretary of the board Reazuddin Al Mamun told media that he hoped Mahmud can benefit the team, after working very closely with many of them in the past.

The Bangladesh team are currently in preparation for the ICC Champions Trophy qualifying round against the West Indies and Zimbabwe.
