Australia may change side

Captain Ricky Ponting has hinted there may be changes to the line-up for tomorrow’s second Test.

Several of the players look jaded and tired during their narrow victory, and there are doubts over Shane Warne and Brett Lee’s fitness in particular. “We have to look at it pretty closely,” Ponting said. “The last thing we want now are guys going into the second Test match that are fatigued and come up with an injury that could put them out for a long period of time. If you’d been in our dressing room and seen how fatigued and exhausted some of the players are I think everyone would be quite surprised.”

Dan Cullen and Nathan Bracken have been flown over as cover for Warne and Lee, while Mitchell Johnson could replace Stuart Clark if needed. Australia arrived in Bangladesh just three days before the first Test, and just days after finishing a 3-0 whitewash of South Africa.
