Over 100,000 people have registered for tickets for the 2006-07 Ashes series in Australia, with day one tickets set to sell out fast.

The tickets go on sale to the public on 1st June, with competition for tickets likely to be fierce.

Cricket Australia chief executive James Sutherland said prices would range from $20 at the Gabba to $140 for top-level tickets at the MCG, with the price for a family of four likely to be about $70.

The first of five Tests in the Ashes series starts on 23rd November at The Gabba in Brisbane.
