Adams out of Chappell-Hadlee

Andre Adams will miss the Chappell-Hadlee series next month after suffering an injury to his left ring finger during training with the Auckland Aces.

Adams suffered the injury when attempting to catch a ball during practice.

Black Caps Manager Lindsay Crocker has confirmed that Adams will be unavailable for a minimum of five weeks after a specialist confirmed a ‘mallet finger’ injury.

Adams will be aiming to be fit and ready for Sri Lanka’s tour of New Zealand in late Decemember/early January.
