In the 100 metres, Bolt had a similar type jump before 2008.

Haa. Bolt started as 200 specialist, i think he goit 2nd in 2007 WC to Gay & was junior 200m champion. He used to run anywhere between 10:00-10:10 seconds, in 100 metres & in one year he jumped just like that. So in a hundred metre sense, its a similar transition to that SA girl in question.

WADA regulations allow athletes to have up to four times as much testosterone as normal, because there are biological reasons why someone may have that amount of testosterone....

I think the tests are still on-going.

Her/His arrival home was insane, managed to fill the entire arrivals hall of Joburg Airport which is enormous. Mandela draws smaller crowds .. Naturally everyone here is quite rightly blaming Australia, even though I think they were outspoken in her defence?

But it was the impressive way he overhauled Spearmon in the relay final leg that was so impressive!

Good to see Foster winning the 100 hurldes again at Gateshead today, and 400 hurdlers Phillips and Spencer winning at Zagreb.

Can see how he'd want to extend himself as an athlete by going up to the 400m, but it'd be a shame if he gave the 100m away before the next Olympics. No male runner has ever actually won two 100m Olympic finals, although Butch Carl does have two golds following BJ's drugs bust.

Plus it's the sprinting blue ribbon, isn't it?
