Right now, Pakistan has a better bowling attack than India and thats only because of Shoaib Akhtar. But Shoaib doesn't have the right attitude or committment. He also doesn't have too much stamina.
Mohammad Sami is a very useless bowler IMO. He is very inconsistent. I think Sehwag will feast on his bowling

Shabbir Ahmed is just OK, nothing great. When conditions suit his bowling, he will be good. But normally, you can't rely on him.
Abdul Razzaq's bowling is nowhere near what it used to be. He's more of a batter now.
So here's how I see it:
Pathan vs Shoaib: SHOAIB
Balaji vs Razzaq: BALAJI
AA vs Shabbir: EQUAL
Nehra vs Sami: EQUAL

RC, I think 10 overs by Shoaib will make lot of difference, Even though Sami is not a very good bowlers, He has played along with the likes of Waqar, Wasim & Shoaib and gota lot of experience that is why he is always a big threat. Akram just had couple of sessions with Irfan and we saw a considerable improvement in Irfan's bowling, Imgaine how good Sami is because he has actually played with the greats. IMO Sami is a very good ODI bowler.
Shabir is always a threat against the likes of Sehwag and Ganguly and that's why I am glad that he is not playing on 19th. Razzaq has been bowling well since bobby woolmer has taken charge.

And Balaji will not play. So you dont have to compare Ajit Agarkar with Shabbir, since Shabbir has to be compared with Balaji.

Yes, you can say that he is on one level with Harbjhan...But he doesnt get his chance so often that he has the best condition to spin on....

In ODI cricket, there isnt much between the 2 teams. The matches in pak were very close and although since then, pak have had the uperhand - it wont count for much on the 19th.
IMO, Indias batting is pretty much overrated, always has been. They rely on 3 players -
tendulkar
Ganguly
Dravid
The first is injured, the second is losing his mind and the third isnt in the greatest of form. Players such as yuvraj, kaif, sehwag etc probably wont feature much in the match.
IMO indias main threat comes from their bowling, if India bowl first, the likes of nehra (if playing ) pathaan and to a lesser extent balaji can really cause some problems for the like of hameed and pak's other flat track bullys.
Pak will rely on their army of all-rounders. razzaq, afridi, malik and rana. All four can be be liabilities but each of them (except for rana) are proven match winners and can take the game away from their opposition at any given moment.
Sami, will be the key bowler IMO, i think he and rana should open the bowling and will probably make some in-roads.

For him there will be Azhar Mahmood and finally they will play with 4 Allrounders and 2 pure Fast bowlers...although Sami is a half allrounder.
This adavantage could help and clean the weak and unsolid batting order so that Pakistan will have a equal batting bonus as India.
Then it will be up to the conditions, how the 4 fast bowlers and 2 spinners are going to perform ..
