That's an interesting point, and probably not quantifiable, but I'd agree. Two amazing bowlers and I am thankful they played for us and I got to watch their entire careers.

As for the others, reckon you're doing a disservice to Donald/Pollock by not even naming them in the poll. For me, they're just behind Warne and McGrath.
Hmm, still, Curtly and Walsh must've had some pretty ordinary support towards the end of the 1990s and they were still competitive.

I misread it as McGrath/Gillespee, As I now noticed It's Warne, I'll go with McWarne.

W/M ... the greatest combo I've ever seen..I dont think any batsman at any time in the innings was confident of seeing them off..

I don't really think of McWarne as a partnership, consider McGrath opened the bowling and Warne didn't. In that sense I'm going for Wasim/Waqar- I always think of them bowling in tandem moreso than McWarne- but I'd say McGrath and Warne are both better bowlers.

I'd agree with that.

Hate to give props to Harbhajan the douche Singh, but he had a good bowling partnership with Teh Jumbo.
42 tests 406 wickets and 31 5fers whilst playing together.

Some great bowling combos of the past being done a bit of a disservice here methinks.

Lillee / Thomson
Heine / Adcock
Gregory / Macdonald
Kirtley / Lewry
Various combinations of Lock / Laker / Bedser / Statham / Trueman / Tyson / Wardle
Various combinations of Marshall / Garner / Roberts / Holding / Croft etc
And numerous others

Of those listed in the OP, Warne / McGrath is hard to argue with.

As for pure fast bowling combos, we did that in a fairly recent thread and exhaustive statistical analysis revealed that Walsh / Ambrose and Pollock / Donald were almost inseparable, with Waqar / Wasim a fraction behind

Srinath-Kumble must have done all right I reckon. Also reckon Vass-Murali to be a very good partnership.
