What does this site underrate/overrate?

Why, when 90% of the time it's the most challenging? I mean the statistics don't lie.
I don't think it's necessarily overrated, but one problem is the sample is usually too small for a player so it's a stretch to make a judgment based on that. If you restrict to "challenging 4th innings runs" and not just 4th innings runs.

well lol he produced actual results in the end

basically what viriya said

As a batsman yes. Its complete guesswork to say his batting would have curved upwards the way it did if he had kept the gloves.

What we do know is that he's a shade over 40 average bat whilst keeping and that he's not in the discussion for all time xi sides as the keeper if you want a keeper/bat cause of those guys called gilchrist and flower.

Individual players samples may be small, but if you take the total 4th innings average in Tests across history, I'm pretty sure it's comfortably the lowest isn't it?

Re Tendulkar. Could it be said that's he's overrated by SC fans (which I dounbt too many would dispute), but underrated by Non-SC fans, due to the fact they see he's overrated by the SC lot :p

A batsman who scores runs in his first innings is much more valuable to a team than someone with an awesome 4th innings record.
