chris jordan is by far and away the best fielding fast bowler of all time.

Self preservation factor I think you'll find. He's not a fan of staying in line against the quicks. But he does have a naturally good eye and has displayed that in a few slogging little cameos. None more so than his debut vs Aust at Hobart in which his 20 odd in NZ's 2nd innings proved crucial in NZ's 8 run victory.
