One-from-each-era draft 2014

Herbert Strudwick averaged 7.9 and spent most of his Test career at No.11. Consequently, the team needs a bowling allrounder at No.7 if you are to retain Strudwick,

Keeping that in mind, here is a slightly different XI

Hobbs - Hutton - Bradman - Viv - Grace - Sobers - Procter - Marshall - Warne - Steyn - Strudwick

Prefer the first side though. Six bats are enough, even with Strudwick.

Shouldn't Hobbs be the 1919-28 era? AFAIK he qualifies for both, and there's better depth in the 1900-14. (though this may change depending on how I draft my side)

By my count it is 28 to 25 in favour of 1900-14, not that I've not been wrong with these counts before.

Yep, played his remaining 8 tests in 1929-30.

Sutcliffe actually does qualify as Bradman era, its close though, 26-28.
