I guess I should make the pick as it's been quite some time now.

I'll take Ted McDonald as the third quick.

Aldo's XI :

01. Arthur Shwresbury snr
02. Monty Noble
03. Ricky Ponting
04. Brian Lara
05. Greg Chappell
06. Frank Worrell
07. Alan Knott
08. Wasim Akram
09. Alec Bedser
10. Ted McDonald
11. Hedley Verity
Ted McDonald played only 11 Tests.

03. Ricky Ponting
04. Brian Lara

Sorry Aldo but Murphy's Law dictates that someone would have picked on the error right in the middle of the Voting when you're winning. So better now.

Ironically, I think that your second team is a better balanced team anyhow.

EDIT: Incidently, Collins seems like a good foil for Ponting, Lara, and Chappell.

A bookmaker by profession, he was widely known as "Horseshoe" Collins by reason of his good fortune in connection with racing and in winning the toss at cricket.........A batsman possessing exceptionally sound defence and seemingly unlimited patience, he spent four hours fifty minutes over 40 runs in the Old Trafford Test match of 1921 when, following a blank first day through rain, an England total of 362 for four wickets, declared, left Australia with nothing to hope for but a draw.

Sorry guys, rough weekend. Office moving, was a bitch.

Without my computer research from the older eras is hell.

Need a keeper and a middle order bat.

Cricketer Of The Year
Guess I'll go with Jack Ryder.

Sunil Gavaskar*
Bruce Mitchell
Kumar Sangakkara
Everton Weekes
Clem Hill
Jack Ryder
Tony Grieg
Ian Healy+
Muttiah Muralitharan
Fred Spofforth
Neil Adcock

Maybe should've thrown Sanga the gloves and picked an extra bowler but, oh well.
