Nice win but still not convinced with India's performance. They have the potential to do much more, especially with the bat. More urgency from the middle order would be good for starters.

Just noticed in a T20 tournament in Ireland, in the Arachas Super T20 Trophy match in Kildare the Typhoons with 78 off 19.4 overs defeated the Scorchers who were 19 All out off 9.5 overs by 59 runs.
Maybe a dodgy pitch.?

14(58) has to be the worst t20I innings ever played jeez.
She redeemed herself with 14* (14) to chase down France's total, facing less than a quarter of the deliveries she was out there for.

I think this illustrates the gap between tiers of women's cricket rather well: this opener, Christina Gough, averages 45 with a hundred in T20Is nevertheless despite failing so horribly against Ireland (Germany were playing test cricket out there! who says women needs tests, just play T20s like Germany) Ireland did horrible when New Zealand toured, NZ resting some players and placing bowling all-rounders at the top of the order. Amelia Kerr, teenage bowling all-rounder, then smashed the most runs in an ODI innings. Now NZ have played miserably against Australia and England. That's five tiers with enormous differences between each tier.

Ooh yay Australia - oh, Austria - lost.

<her captain doesn't get a chance to bat despite playing at #3, shows her anger by getting bowling figures of 5-1>

Germany batted the overs against Scotland and only made 36 (all out off the last ball). Clearly they are completely out of their depth against any sort of decent bowling. It's weird though because Gough has hit fast runs against Austria and Oman, it's not like she can't bat. King made 3 off 32 today for France batting at 3 in 24 all out. France and Germany are really struggling against Ireland and Scotland's bowling. Against stronger opposition the stronger players in the weak side should be concentrating on scoring runs rather than blocking to try to help the team to last the overs, if you get out you get out at least try to maximise your score (individual and team)
