Time to get Varun/Umesh back from both ends and crush the tail.

Yadav bowls with serious pace, and will be an asset to the side, when handled well. Lack of state/reserves cricket will hold him back, but he's got pace, and isn't too wayward. Aaron's a little slower (and slower than Ishant, too) but seems fit for limited-overs cricket. Ideally, we'd have Yadav for Tests and Aaron for ODIs, and a completely different seam bunch (Yo Mahesh, Aravind, Ablish, Anand Rajan) for T20Is, but Yadav, at his pace, and with his bowling style, may be a lot more useful.

With all these distractions - broken bat, sight screen trouble and crowd behaviour, I feel we're destined to **** this chase up.

Yep and as I post this Sehwag is bowled.

Bowled him!
India lucky they've got a pretty deep batting line up, still, wouldn't have thought WI would've had a chance at the halfway point

I'm sorry, I haven't been following this tour all that well, but is Andre Russell in test contention? Where was he for them? I just love the look of Russel + Roach.

As I said when India were in England I can't believe a country like India doesn't have someone better than Parthiv Patel. The guy is excruciatingly mediocre and was playing as a specialist batsman at times, he wouldn't get in New Zealand's side and they've got a very limited pool of talent to choose from.

Anyway this could be 6 down very quickly if the quicks can get at these two new batsmen.

Should be, he's a quality bowler and a useful batsman.

Roach has been poor though, bowled one good delivery this innings. Been quite streaky here

Just about to post about how the people constantly moving behind the bowlers arm seemed to be putting off Sehwag.

Windies need to pitch the ball up now, bit of movement from the pitch...

It's hard to fit him in, at this point Sammy Bishoo Roach Rampaul and Edwards are ahead of him, a good OD series could see him leap frog a few of the pacers though, essentially plays the role Sammy attempts to play.

Wow, very soft dismissal
