*Official* Third Test at the WACA

I should be fairer to our bowlers

All of them "did a job" plus Hilf and Siddle scored some more than useful runs

But I just cannot see Oz holding of England for 2 tests matches with 4 failures in the top 6 each and every innings

Yeah, although Watto, Hussey and Harris all were all pretty good/decent at Adelaide too though and Australia still got crushed. It's just Johnson really.
Big difference in how we bowled though I think in this test. Yes Johnson stood out in this match, but the rest kept it reasonably tight too (with Harris again playing well). Compare that to Bollinger running out of steam in Adelaide and Doherty being ineffective and there's quite a difference.

Ha yeah, as much as I slated Hilfenhaus yesterday at least he wasn't offering free runs like Doherty and Bollinger did at Adelaide.

This, to be honest I could see England winning one and Australia winning the other, it will be a question of which way round it happens, unless the wicket turns out to be a real stinker. Even when England are playing well they always make a meal of one of the test matches, even though this time, it was down to good bowling, rather than England throwing their wickets away especially in the 1st innings.

Did anyone catch Smith chucking whatever was in the CA bag (cricket balls?) to the crowd, tennis player style? Nice moment.

Really? Didn't notice the rest. Nice moment anyway.
Yeah but Smith was fairly pegging them at people. Reckon there might have been a copule of people hurt. Ponting was telling him where to throw them.

Hopefully at English supporters.

Hard.

Haha I don't think he realised how hard he was throwing them. They were clearly supposed to be lazy lobs, but he forgot he wasn't throwing it to Brad Haddin.

Haddin would have dropped it tbf.
