Surely the draw is pretty much a certainty now; even if Australia somehow loses its last 6 wickets in the next 10 overs, England will still be looking at about 160 with only 32 overs to go.

Why on the sky sports wagon wheel have they computerised some of the cars in the car park on the aerial image ??, makes no sense at all. Sure CGI the stadium but half the cars in the car park, simply madness.

Good 50's for both Clarke and North, both have done a very good job in ensuring that they guide us towards safety.

I agree with social's assessment of North as a batsman, seems to be a dodgy starters and hence plays a few false shots when not set, could be Ashes pressure, because whenever I have seen him play for WA he has generally looked a pretty assured and composed batsman.

100 partnership, 2 good knocks but have to say impressed with North, well more relieved he doesn't look out of form at all, looks confident and settled. Good signs.

Four very very good fifties in this innings for Australia. Credit to them for the team effort in their batting, and for not leaving it to the debutant no.7 and bowlers.

Bring on Leeds. :)

Some bowlers will be bowling for their spot later on today you'd imagine with Lee and Clark both 'fit' and ready to go. Think Hauritz may be unlucky come Headingley which would be a big mistake.

You're expecting to bowl? Unlikely I reckon. What time can it be called off as a draw?
