Surprised Uppercut hasn't commented on the last ball of India's innings and them not running a second so far.

Uppercut's point about looking for the second run at the end of India's innings seems appropriate.

I would also like to point out that a certain someone got a bit precious about Uppercut making this point.

Would 1 run have affected D/L though? Not sure.

When Swann fell the par score was 269 and when Bopara went it just became 270. Don't know what affects the method anymore.

England would have lost this game if India had scored one more run.

Jadeja's brain fart cost India the match. Those 4 runs gifted away with an unnecessary shy at the stumps.

LOL at people blaming Jadeja. Such an easy scapegoat.

There were a bunch of factors that made this a tie rather than swing one way, its ridiculous to blame one person either way.

haha absolutely ridiculous it looks now to call the game off. we just can't win in this tour, even the elementals conspiring with england. with just a wicket remaining and 10 to get off 7, it's easily our game but yeah dl is dl. no complaints about that.

sounds like they called it off 5 mins earlier than cut off.

anyways, we were sawn off in this match by elementals. hehe

yes it is, wise man. At the end of a close tie, one just looks back at what little things could have made a difference.

True you can blame many things for either side tbh.

Jadeja's overthrow, Munaf's sloppy work on that occasion, Not running a second last ball, not running the ball before that, RP singh dropping Bopara etc... for India.

Similar number of factors for England.

Yeah there were a bunch of factors, just that Jadeja's was the very obvious one and needless one. I don't think he's to blame totally, but yeah could have done without that throw. Anyway this is the first intl match we haven't lost! So there's a start :p

nah prince, then england too would've scored a run more. this game was destined to end in a tie. and give us a reason to moan about us not being able to win in this series. :p it's a godsend for some of us!

atleast we fought like men in the pyjamas, not wimps in whites.

Do you honestly believe that? Both Finn and Anderson are no mugs and on that pitch tailenders could have easily found a couple of fours.

Way to be sarcastic and condescending. There are a multitude of little factors you could look back on, so to single out Jadeja's is ridiculous.
