Kota is the maaaaan.

Been a really tough week in the world of professional wrestling. Jon Huber seems like a proper stand up guy. The AEW tribute was amazing. And to see WWE acknowledge it the way they did was a nice touch.

As for Goldberg..booooo

Kota the Golden God is pretty hype. Didn't actually think it'd ever happen, thought he'd always be behind Okada/Naito in the pecking order but Gedo the mad lad actually did it.

Zero hype for SANADA vs Kota tho

God the amount of people on reddit blowing smoke up Jay White's ass about him being the best heel in the business was hilarious last night. Harsh to say he sucks but FMD he isn't even in the top 10 heels going. Isn't even the best heel in New Japan ffs.

Man, I like him. Not enough to do what Athlai is talking about, he's cringy as **** about 30% of the time, particularly in promos. But everything I've seen of him seems to indicate he's got a mind for the business. He's maybe missing that next gear in terms of athleticism but he's at least on the right path in terms of character and psychology.

Someone like Sanada I just don't get though. Guy has no personality, a terrible move set, and doesn't take half the chances someone like Jay White does. When I was in Japan for WK 13 he was very popular though, him and Okada. Ibushi is a bit different because in the ring there's basically no one better. He's just a bit of a himbo which is a personality I can't really get behind fully.

jay white is good and his promos are fine. the in-ring promos after matches aren't, but of all the ways NJPW do promos, the in-ring ones are the worst ones. his post-match press conference after WK was extremely good and did an excellent job promoting new year's dash

Jay White needs to turn so badly. Such a gross mismatch of ability and character.

Then again none of NJPW's heels are anywhere close to good. EVIL is the drizzling shits, and I actually like the guy.

Minoru Suzuki is still good. ZSJ too. But yeah agree on EVIL and White.

So,any theory on why AEW and WWE treat their legends so differently? That RAW legends night was cringe all the way through.
