Haha, three wickets in fall balls. Absolutely atrocious decision to give that out; pitched a mile outside.

Prosper can bat but 100 SR is his ceiling. Panyangara can.. slog a bit. But yeah, forget it.

Heh, could tell it had pitched outside leg. Doubt they'd have got close anyways with Waller out.

A lot probably rests of Chigumbura. He's quite capable of coming out and scoring 42 (18) or something, but it's definitely one of those "we erroneously rate players based on what they can do rather than what they're likely to" situations.
Well Afridi is playing for the oppo, so all's fair on that front.

Haha yeah he's the player who I first heard that said about. Can't remember if it was a Kimber article or a Howe post actually; I tend to meld them together a lot in my mind for some reason.

Zimbabwe were always going to struggle chasing 300. Pakistan really lifted their game after getting pantsed in the first game. Still happy enough the Zimbabwe's batting and building meaningful partnerships between wickets. Still can't believe Maruma is getting constantly picked. A complete waste of space. If the selectors aren't prepared to drop him for another batsmen, I'd rather see a stronger 5th bowling option come in for him. Maybe Shingi as he can hold a bat, but he too can be expensive

If you had been following the match you wouldn't be saying this.........the zimbos played well until they were about 200.......they were chasing well, then a flurry of wickets came but otherwise they were doing well

He was in here posting as it was going.

I actually agree with your point but he was very much following the match. He made posts about the Taylor, Waller and Chigumbura wickets that changed the game.

You have almost as many smileys in this post as smalishah has in the entire thread. Correct yourself bitch.

But yeah, I started following the score on CI at about the 40 over mark. With Junaid having a fair few overs left I thought it would have been a comfortable win.

Apparently Maruma will be dropped for this game and replaced by Raza. Finally sanity has prevailed. Also Shingi will come in for Vitori which is an odd selection unless Vitori has an injury. I think Vitori has been Zimbabwe's best bowler so far or they could be resting him for the test matches if they are not cancelled.

would be gutted if Zim had to cancel the tests, the SL tour under threat as well, I understand the players are being treated like ****, but surely they are keen to play
