Martin Guptil hard hand/bat away from his body getting caught in the cordon. All is right in the world again.

Kane average will probably go above 50 this innings. Only Kohli left to crack that mark (could well do it during England series) and then the awesome foursome will all be there.

Well done Latham - I'm really pleased he converted this start to a century. I think he is going to be better than Wright and Richardson - NZ's best opener since Turner.

Well played Tom.

Quite impressed with how these two have played - only Zimbabwe and all, but with a docile pitch, poor bowling attack and a small first innings it's the kind of situation where it can be all too easy and you lose concentration/try to over-attack. Good to see they've been positive but not reckless.

Nice post. For the past two - three years we seem to have advanced in terms of our test match maturity and game sense. There is all day tomorrow to bat and the team will be hoping to just bat once.

The Boss is in next.

This will be interesting. The Boss has been guilty of not cashing in when the team has been well set in the early part of his career, for the past 4-5 years he has become more reliable and contributes 50s in these circumstances and according to his interviews seems to place value in ensuring the team doesn't lose wickets in clumps.
