***Official***Match #20- England vs S Africa - October 21st - Wankhede (D/N)

International Debutant
We need a captain who can at least decide to bat or bowl correctly after winning the toss.
Our previous highest defeat came after Jos won the toss and decided to field too. Bloke definitely still thinks it's 2017.

Norwood's on Fire
Having 3 subs in the last few overs was pretty entertaining, sure Eng love to sub their old "war horses" Anderson/Broad whenever they can & often multiple times in a session but I thought their bassballers were lot more fit?
Bazball is a different colour you ****ing buffoon

The **** happened to you? Pope a vein or something 8-)

This is what happens when you toot your horn too much, Eng record on pitches without much help for the bowlers has been great but at best par or below par on more sporting wickets!

Cricketer Of The Year
That shows what I know about Jansen's batting!
Has to be one of the most freakishly talented players in the world right now. Tall, high release point, hits 140+ regularly, can move the ball and a left armer, left arm plus a few of those would get you an international career and he's got all of it. Also has a good amount of batting talent. Don't think he'll ever bat top 6 but he gives me peak starc/Johnson batting vibes.

At least he admitted he's a ****ing idiot I guess.

Jos Buttler, England captain: "Incredibly disappointing. Come in with hopes of playing well but we were short of that and were well beaten. Changes weren't as big an issue. Throughout the first innings, lots of things didn't go to plan. Topley got injured, we were unsure whether he'd come back or not and get a few overs in, that kind of stuff. It was a tough 50 overs. Thought if we'd restricted them in 340-350 on this pitch, it'd have been a good chase but they got away. Bowling first is potentially a mistake. You always look back on the decisions you make. Incredibly tough conditions with heat, etc, you saw that with the boys in the field. Potentially should've batted due to the heat. Conditions were extremely tough. The humidity, cramps and all other challenges were tough. We needed to get off to a good start with bat chasing a score like that. Ball did a bit, batters got down the leg side. When that kind of thing starts happening, you start thinking the writing is on the wall. The loss leaves with no room for error. We have to probably win every game here on in."
This is exactly why you do not blindly bowl first no matter what. That the heat was going to be a problem became apparent within the first 10 overs of the innings itself.
