Bale not traveling with Spurs to Monaco for their impending friendly game apparently. Looks like that's that then.

Yeah it's inevitable you would have thought. I know everyone likes to go on about Levy the negotiator but I don't think he should drag it out until near deadline day. Try and get all you can sure but would want it sorted by the start of the season.

Wtf is going on at Coventry?
It's a right old mess by the sound of things. Us SWA are often bemoaning our tight fisted board but the fact is that this wont happen to us under the current administration yet every season there seem to be 2 or 3 lower league clubs on the brink

Bournemouth will be next when they come back down.

Why has this happened to Coventry though? Not like they are a tiny club that have spent well beyond thier means.

Teams that spend a reasonable amount of time in the Premier League seem to really struggle with adjusting to life in the Football League, particularly if they don't get promoted quickly.

Leicester, Southampton, Charlton, Leeds etc all had a nightmare financially.

Cov went down over a decade ago though. Your point is true but not sure it applies in this case.

Hopefully today is a sign off things to come for us this season, we haven't got a defence anyway so all out attack is probably the best course of action, and might help attract better crowds

First time we have scored four in five years

Slightly underwhelming start for us but no real complaints with a point. Sounds like we played pretty well, looking forward to Sheff Utd next weekend.

CBF to read Exeweb. Were we good?
Okay, certainly played with a bit more oomph, Wheeler a good winger, and Parkin the best frontman since Corr (god bless him), that's not saying much though.

Tisdale seems to have taken on board our shocking home performances from last year, and come up with a differing plan.
