Nice to see Hussey having a good time of it again. He's got a knack for double centuries, all three hundreds he has made in FC cricket in recent times have been 200+.

Looks like Hampshire v Gloucestershire is going to turn out to be a thriller, too. Warne and Katich having good games so far.

Nice to see that fifth wicket go down when Blackwell and Burns were just starting to get annoying. Anderson's first spell was good 10-7-11-1, his latest spell is 4-0-12-0 atm. Hopefully we can knock them over for 200 and set them 350 on the last day.

today was a plus really - it was piszing it down when i woke up and the cloud's been close and grey all day so i really wasn't expecting any play.

Can't believe how badly Leicestershire are getting creamed by Durham... 523/8 declared against 86/8, Hussey's runs alone might be enough to beat Leicestershire.

Mr Smith will be in for a shock when he discovers a bunch of laid back no-hopers won't he?

Oh well, the Bears have started rather well - maximum points when the opposition get either 0 or 1 (not checked the current rules to establish which!)

Great play by Worcestershire, our bowling had to rely on Leatherdale who wasnt meant to play any Championship games this year and also a Worcestershire and Kent throwback.
Once Ali gets fit and Vass turns up we'll be well away. Mason looks like he;s going to carry the bowling AGAIN. Batting still looks fragile, but we still have one of the best lower orders around.

Not to mention a flat track bully (Blackwell) and a toothless bowling attack with the main bowler past his best...

You what?!

4 players averaging under 20 and Batty at 22 is not a good lower order.

Which one? Take your effing pick... (Caddick, Johnson, McLean)

Good ton by Blackwell against a pretty handy attack on what doesn't appear to be a batters paradise. I'd pop him in the 20-20 international game at the rose bowl, could be interesting.

After handy half-centuries to Warne and Tremlett, Hampshire have set Gloucestershire 252 to win. Looks like a good finish in the making.
