End to a good career for Westy. Was an important player in some good teams for us, will be sad to see him go but it is time. Give a youngster chance to open, season is dead anyway.

yorkshire didn't even select plunkett or willey in their squad this week although they were available. Plunkett subsequently called upto the lions to replace jamie overton. Yorkshire attack a little too medium paced for my liking this week. Given their resources always think it's worth having someone who can bowl a bit quicker. Batting strong tho with root and bairstow back.

I did wonder myself but this has happened already in atleast one match this season. Crossed my mind that maybe teams have been asked to play their England batsmen at later times to actually make use of this fixture.

What a miserable experience that must be for a bowling side. One of Finn and Roland-Jones is supposed to bowl for England this summer, but it seems more likely they'll both hand in their notice after this.
