Problem is brakken is not even playing in grade, seems he has been out ever since the england one dayers, thats 2 years, would be a mighty come back if he does it.
Bracken stress fractures of the back so he'll be out for a long while. Heard a whisper he might be suing Cricket Australia for the injury or something of the sort.

Can you bowl a worse ball first up?

113km/hr (and it wasn't a cutter or any sort of deliberate slower ball; it just only came out that fast), short and wide. Dreadful pie.

Was looking forward to the Big Bash for the simple reason that it usually gets some discussion in this thread beyond the normal "Player X could play Test cricket" stuff, but no-one cares. :(

Might be because of the two teams playing I suppose; we don't have many Tasmanians or West Australians on here. New South Wales v Victoria could be good.

I should probably cut him some slack because he's just coming back from injury and he batted beautifully, but Paine's keeping has been nothing short of a disgrace in this match.

Is Naved-ul-Hasan off the radar for Pakistan or has he chosen to play this over them? Thought he was a main stay for the limited overs attack for Pakistan.

Tassie will be hard to beat this year.
They look awesome on paper, and they've been really impressive tonight. There are question marks over their fast bowling though, IMO. Their spinners do a great job in this format but Faulkner, Drew and a half-fit Rana don't fill me with any confidence; better teams will take them apart if they bowl like they have tonight again IMO.

He actually got suspended by Pakistan for one reason or another. Suspension might be lifted by now but they don't pick him; he clashes with a few members of the team setup apparently.
