Lions tour of New Zealand 2017

vogue

International Vice-Captain
9-9 at half time. Better scoreline than I thought it would be. Though only saw last 15 mins of the game.

Absolute arm wrestle.

Lions the only side throwing the ball around, oddly.

Think the main reason NZ ran away with it after 60 last time was because we were defending like crazy and ran out of puff. Been a very different game here

lol at getting Fitzpatrick to talk about the red.

'So Sean, you spent the 1980s punching Lions players, what's your view?'

How the **** is that red?
Lazy no arms tackle leading with your shoulder and hitting the guy in the head..... about the only thing you can hope for after that, is to get lucky and only get a yellow, he was not lucky.

Right call, IMO.
Lions player ducked down and was wrapped around the other defender so hard to get to

If he had taken him out then fair enough but SBW is not a dirty player and the other guy is still out there despite being hit illegally by a monster

Yellow and move on

So your argument the opposing player needs to be physically hurt and SBW is generally not dirty so should not get a red? If you as a tackler go in leading with your shoulder and make contact with an opponents head you are taking a risk of being sent off, it was an illegal tackle and dangerous. Red may seem a bit harsh but by rules was correct.
